Questions to discuss with your physician

  • Can you take a pill first thing in the morning and wait 30 minutes before eating or drinking? Oral Wegovy has strict timing rules; Foundayo does not require fasting.
  • Do you take other morning pills that would need to be spaced apart?
  • Do you have cardiovascular disease, which is a labeled use for oral Wegovy?
  • Do you or a family member have a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN 2? If so, neither medicine is appropriate.
